Whether you are an executive who needs a sounding board, an entrepreneur who needs someone in your corner in order to accomplish your dream or a Government employee wanting to advance your career, coaching can help.
I grew up in my family’s sheet metal manufacturing business. My father started me at the bottom so I learned all of the aspects of running a small business. Under his tutelage, I learned valuable lessons that I was able to carry into other fields. These included the idea that a team is only as strong as its weakest link, that the customer is always right and if there is a will there is a way. The most important lesson that I learned is the value of a hard day’s work. I later went on to run multi-million dollar corporations gaining a reputation for being able to streamline the work to improve profitability and employee satisfaction. Even as I served in the military, I continually started new businesses. I understand the satisfaction that seeing your dream realized represents. After my military retirement, I served as the Subject Matter Expert in Interrogation and Counter Intelligence at the Defense Intelligence Agency. Part of my responsibility there was to represent the United States in dealing with NATO.
Throughout my career, I have seen a lot of executives struggle. Some did not feel that they deserved the position they had. Others, had issues with portraying the confidence needed for effective leadership. Still others had all of the skills needed to be successful leaders but somehow missed the mark when it came time for promotion or advancement. Now that I am a certified Life Coach, I am in a position to help you reach your goals and fulfill your potential.

You’ve probably all participated in team building exercises that felt like games. I certainly have. While these activities are fun, I see them as morale building, not team building. Morale is certainly important but it won’t fix problems stemming from poor teamwork. I will work with you to implement practical, real world exercises that attempt to understand any issues that exist and methodically work to resolve those tissues and to help each person rise to their own ability. By utilizing all of your employees to their fullest, you will see more profitability, more innovation and more customer satisfaction.
